For service providers on Nomadly
These terms apply specifically to users who use Nomadly as Service Providers. Please also review our General Terms of Service which apply to all users.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Nomadly! As a Provider, you can offer your services to digital nomads and travelers through our platform. These terms outline your rights, responsibilities, and obligations when listing and delivering services on Nomadly.
2. Provider Eligibility
2.1. Requirements
To become a Provider on Nomadly, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have legal authorization to operate your business in your jurisdiction
- Hold all required licenses and permits for the services you offer
- Have valid business registration (where applicable)
- Maintain adequate insurance coverage for your services
- Provide accurate business and contact information
2.2. Verification Process
All Providers must complete our verification process:
- Submit business registration documents
- Provide proof of relevant licenses and certifications
- Complete identity verification
- Undergo background checks (for certain service categories)
- Pass our quality assessment review
2.3. Verification Levels
- Basic Verified: Identity and business registration confirmed
- Fully Verified: All documents, licenses, and references verified
- Premium Verified: On-site inspection and enhanced background check completed
3. Your Account
3.1. Account Registration
Create your Provider account with accurate information including:
- Legal business name
- Business registration number
- Contact information (email, phone, address)
- Tax identification number
- Bank account details for payments
3.2. Profile Requirements
Your Provider profile must include:
- Clear business description
- Service offerings with accurate pricing
- Business hours and availability
- Profile photo or business logo
- Response time expectations
3.3. Account Security
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Enable two-factor authentication
- Use secure devices and networks
- Report unauthorized access immediately
4. Service Listings
4.1. Creating Listings
When listing services, you must provide:
- Accurate and complete service descriptions
- Clear pricing including all fees and taxes
- Realistic processing times and availability
- Required documents from customers
- Cancellation policy
- Any limitations or restrictions
4.2. Listing Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring:
- Prices are current and accurate
- Service descriptions match what you deliver
- Availability information is up to date
- Required qualifications and licenses are valid
4.3. Prohibited Listings
You may not list services that:
- Are illegal in your jurisdiction or the customer's location
- Violate immigration laws or regulations
- Involve fraudulent documentation
- Discriminate against protected groups
- Guarantee outcomes outside your control (e.g., visa approval)
4.4. Visa and Legal Services
If offering visa or legal services:
- Clearly state you are a visa agent/consultant, not an immigration attorney (unless licensed)
- Never guarantee visa approval
- Explain that government authorities make final decisions
- Disclose all fees including government fees separately
5. Service Delivery
5.1. Quality Standards
You agree to:
- Deliver services as described in your listings
- Meet agreed-upon timelines and deadlines
- Communicate proactively about any delays or issues
- Provide professional and courteous service
- Maintain consistent quality standards
5.2. Communication Requirements
- Respond to inquiries within 24 hours
- Use the Platform's messaging system for all service-related communication
- Provide regular updates on service progress
- Notify customers promptly of any issues
6. Handling Customer Documents
6.1. Document Receipt
When receiving customer documents:
- Only request documents necessary for the service
- Verify document authenticity
- Store documents securely immediately upon receipt
- Acknowledge receipt to the customer
6.2. Secure Handling Requirements
You MUST:
- Handle all customer documents with strict confidentiality
- Use secure, encrypted systems for document storage
- Limit access to authorized personnel only
- Never share documents with unauthorized third parties
- Follow all applicable data protection laws
6.3. Document Deletion
You are required to:
- Delete customer documents within 30 days of service completion
- Use secure deletion methods that prevent recovery
- Confirm deletion to the customer upon request
- Retain only what is legally required
6.4. Data Breach Notification
In case of any security incident:
- Notify Nomadly immediately (within 24 hours)
- Notify affected customers within 48 hours
- Take immediate steps to contain the breach
- Cooperate with any investigation
6.5. Liability for Document Security
- You are solely responsible for documents while in your possession
- You must maintain appropriate cyber insurance
- Failure to protect documents may result in account termination
- You may be liable for damages resulting from data breaches
7. Pricing and Payments
7.1. Setting Prices
- Set fair and competitive prices for your services
- Include all applicable fees in listed prices
- Clearly separate government fees from service fees
- Do not engage in price manipulation or bait-and-switch tactics
7.2. Platform Fees
- Nomadly charges a commission on completed transactions
- Current fee structure is disclosed in your Provider Dashboard
- Fees are deducted automatically before payout
- Fee changes will be notified 30 days in advance
7.3. Payment Processing
- All payments must be processed through the Platform
- Do not accept direct payments to circumvent Platform fees
- Payments are held until service completion/confirmation
7.4. Payout Schedule
- Payouts are processed weekly/bi-weekly
- Funds are transferred to your registered bank account
- Payment processing takes 3-5 business days
7.5. Taxes
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your earnings
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
8. Cancellations and Refunds
8.1. Your Cancellation Policy
- Set a clear cancellation policy for your services
- Display your policy prominently on listings
- Honor your stated cancellation terms
- Be fair and reasonable with cancellation fees
8.2. Provider-Initiated Cancellations
If you must cancel a booking:
- Notify the customer as soon as possible
- Provide a full refund for services not delivered
- Offer alternative solutions when possible
- Frequent cancellations may affect your account standing
8.3. Handling Refund Requests
- Respond to refund requests within 48 hours
- Process approved refunds promptly
- Document reasons for denied refunds
9. Reviews and Ratings
9.1. Customer Reviews
- Accept reviews as valuable feedback
- Respond professionally to all reviews
- Do not offer incentives for positive reviews
- Do not threaten or pressure customers about reviews
9.2. Review Manipulation
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Creating fake reviews
- Paying for positive reviews
- Threatening customers for reviews
- Exchanging reviews with other Providers
10. Legal Compliance
10.1. Business Licenses
You must:
- Maintain all required business licenses
- Update license information on your profile
- Notify Nomadly if licenses expire or are revoked
- Comply with all licensing requirements in your jurisdiction
10.2. Immigration and Visa Services
If providing visa-related services:
- Never provide unauthorized legal advice
- Do not guarantee visa outcomes
- Comply with immigration consultant regulations
- Be transparent about your qualifications and limitations
10.3. Data Protection
- Comply with GDPR, PDPA, and other applicable privacy laws
- Implement appropriate data security measures
- Respond to data subject requests promptly
11. Insurance Requirements
Depending on your service category, you may need:
- Professional liability insurance
- General liability insurance
- Cyber liability insurance
- Errors and omissions insurance
12. Prohibited Activities
As a Provider, you must NOT:
Business Practices
- Misrepresent your qualifications or experience
- Make false or misleading claims about services
- Guarantee outcomes outside your control
- Circumvent Platform fees or payment systems
Customer Interactions
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against customers
- Share customer information without authorization
- Pressure customers for reviews or tips
- Contact customers outside the Platform for services
Legal Violations
- Provide services without required licenses
- Assist with illegal activities or fraudulent documents
- Violate immigration laws or regulations
- Breach data protection laws
13. Communication and Content Standards
13.1. Content Standards
When communicating with Nomads or posting content on the Platform, you must not:
- Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages
- Share discriminatory or offensive content
- Post spam, phishing attempts, or malicious links
- Share inappropriate or adult content
- Impersonate others or misrepresent yourself
- Share content that violates any laws
13.2. Reporting Issues
If you experience objectionable content or behavior from a Nomad or another user:
- Use the "Report" button in chat conversations
- Use the "Report Issue" feature for service requests

All reports are reviewed within 24 hours and treated confidentially.
13.3. Blocking Users
You can block any user to prevent further communication. Blocked users cannot send you messages or view your full profile.
13.4. Consequences
Violations of content standards may result in content removal, warning, account suspension, or permanent ban.
14. Account Standing
14.1. Performance Metrics
Your account standing is based on:
- Response rate and time
- Completion rate
- Customer ratings and reviews
- Cancellation rate
- Compliance with policies
14.2. Good Standing Benefits
Maintaining good standing provides:
- Higher visibility in search results
- Access to premium features
- Priority support
- Lower commission rates (for top performers)
15. Account Suspension and Termination
15.1. Suspension
We may suspend your account for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Multiple customer complaints
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Failure to maintain required documentation
15.2. Termination
We may terminate your account for:
- Severe or repeated policy violations
- Fraudulent activity
- Illegal conduct
- Operating without valid licenses
15.3. Appeals
To appeal suspension or termination:

- Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days
16. Liability and Indemnification
16.1. Your Liability
You are solely liable for:
- Quality and accuracy of your services
- Compliance with applicable laws
- Security of customer documents in your possession
- Actions of your employees or subcontractors
- Damages resulting from your negligence
16.2. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Nomadly against claims arising from:
- Your services or service delivery
- Violation of these Terms
- Infringement of third-party rights
- Data breaches caused by you
